At the National Court Appointed Special Advocate Association 2019 Awards of Excellence event held in Atlanta, Georgia on June 3, Charlotte Burton, Board Member with CASA of Ohio Valley in Owensboro, Kentucky, was honored by the National CASA Association as the National CASA Board Member of the Year. The National CASA Board Member of the Year Award honors an individual who exemplifies outstanding leadership and commitment to their CASA/GAL Program through their role as a member of a CASA/GAL Board of Directors or Advisory Council.
The KCN seeks a dynamic individual for the newly created position of Grants and Data Compliance Coordinator. This position will serve as the day to day contact offering technical assistance and guidance to local CASA programs on successful State CASA Grant performance implementation to include financial and programmatic reporting. This position will also work closely with the KCN team on data reporting, outcomes, and performance measurement.
Through a combination of practical guidance and case studies, this course provides insight into what makes not-for-profits different. As well, you will receive guidance on FASB's financial statement standard and revenue recognition, including grants and contracts.
The 46th KY School of Alcohol & Other Drug Studies is primarily designed for behavioral health providers but also seeks to engage other human services professionals in learning about prevention, treatment, and recovery support services, as well as how systems can work together to best serve individuals and communities.
